Bakers Lodge - Auckland

We had a pretty decent stay overall! The location is super convenient-loads of shops and even a gym right across the street. The staff was friendly and greeted us with such energy when we checked in. Plus, the family room was spacious and the modern bathroom design was a hit!

We had a few issues that dampened the experience. The shower pressure was weak, which was a letdown. the noise from the bars and clubs nearby kept us up at night—definitely not great for a city break. Oh, and the Wi-Fi was spotty on our last night, which was super frustrating!

The family room was spacious and beautifully designed, perfect for bonding with my loved ones. The cleanliness was impressive, with plenty of towels and toiletries provided, although I did remember to bring my own toothpaste. The location was fantastic, right in the city center, and I appreciated the free parking available. The staff added to the experience with their warm hospitality and helpfulness.

The accommodation was FAMILY-FRIENDLY with amicable and fairly friendly staff. The rooms were new-fashioned and beds - nice. The location was great, due to located in a kind of alleyway area, in the calm area. Also, a traditional shopping mall was placed nearby.

I was really taken aback by the cockroaches in my room! I found them behind the bed and even spotted a couple on my pillow. It just ruined the whole vibe of the stay for me. So gross!
